If you’re moving to ZenPass from Square, we’ll help you bring your client and appointment data over with ease. This guide walks you through how to export your essential data from Square so our team can import it into your ZenPass account.
ZenPass offers a free data transfer service to help you get started quickly and confidently.
What You Can Export from Square
We recommend exporting the following data sets:
- Clients – Names, contact information, notes
- Appointments – Past and upcoming bookings
- Services – Service names, pricing, and duration
Once exported, these files can be reviewed and sent to our team for import into your ZenPass account.

Step 1: Exporting Clients from Square
- Log in to your Square Dashboard at squareup.com.
- Go to Customers in the main menu.
- Click the “Export Customers” button (top right).
- Choose All Customers and click “Export”.
- A CSV file will download to your computer.
This file will include client names, emails, phone numbers, and notes (if available).
Step 2: Exporting Appointments from Square
- From your Square Dashboard, go to Appointments > Calendar.
- Select a date range (we recommend exporting at least the last 6–12 months and upcoming bookings).
- Click Export or Print, depending on your available tools.
- Save the file in CSV or PDF format.
Note: Square may not provide full appointment export functionality depending on your account type. If needed, take a screenshot or contact Square Support to request a data export.
Step 3: Exporting Service List (Optional)
To send us your current services:
- Go to Items > Services in your Square Dashboard.
- Use the Export button at the top of the page.
- Save the CSV file containing your service names, descriptions, prices, and durations.
Next Steps: Sending Your Data to ZenPass
Once you’ve exported your data:
- Review each file to ensure it includes the correct information.
- Email your files to contact@zen-pass.com with the subject line: “Data Transfer – [Your Business Name]”.
- Our team will confirm receipt and begin importing the data into your account.
- Data imports are typically completed within 3–5 business days.
