What You Can Export from Jane App
We recommend exporting the following data sets:

Step-by-Step Guide to Exporting Data
1. Exporting Patient Demographics
- Log in to your Jane App account.
- Navigate to Reports > Patients > List.
- Use the filters to select the desired data.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Export to Excel.

2. Exporting Appointments
- Go to Reports > Appointments.
- Use the filters to select the desired date range and practitioner.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Export to Excel.
This will download a CSV file containing appointment dates, times, and associated patient information.
3. Exporting Chart Notes
To export chart notes, you’ll need to request a batch export from Jane App support:
- Contact Jane App support and request a batch chart export.
- The export will include all chart entries in clearly labeled PDFs and an Excel file that matches chart entries to the correct patient profiles.
4. Exporting Insurance Policies
- Navigate to Reports > Insurance Policies.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Export to Excel.
This will download a CSV file containing patient insurance information.
5. Exporting Inventory
- Go to Reports > Inventory.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Export to Excel.
This will download a CSV file containing product names, details, and quantities.
Sending Your Data to ZenPass
Once you’ve gathered all the necessary files:
- Email them to contact@zen-pass.com.
- Use the subject line: “Data Transfer – [Your Business Name]”.
- Our team will confirm receipt and begin the import process.
Data imports are typically completed within 3–5 business days.
